The Spring 2004 SGA Election took place on April 14th and 15th on ASAP and was administered by Election Commissioner Enrique Vazquez. Over 2400 students voted, roughly 10 percent of the student body. The large turnout is attributable to the combination of the university's promotion of the Campus Life Initiative and the organized campaign of the Impact Party. It featured most candidates by the Impact Party winning except notably for president. Presidential candidate Damon Garcia and Vice-Presidential Internal candidate Otis Blanchard campaigned together but not as an official party.
