Spring 1985 SRA Election

The Spring 1985 SRA Election was notable for being close at several positions. The presidency was decided by a margin of 14 votes (less than 3%), and historian, sophomore rep, junior rep, and senior rep each decided by 4 votes or fewer (5.9%, 0.4%, 1.9%, 0.4%, respectively), despite relatively good voter turnout. Despite no mention of a run-off for treasurer in the Paisano's reporting on the election, SRA rules at the time would have necessitated one since executive officers must obtain a majority.
