The Spring 1984 SRA Election took place on April 4th and 5th. The General Assembly meeting on the 4th included controversy regarding how far the election was after the filing period. Junior Representative Ray Lake argued that the period of time was unconstitutionally short: eight days rather than the requisite ten.[1]
