Sagebrush Review is UTSA's very own student-run and student-produced literary journal. The journal accepts fiction, nonfiction, poetry, art, and photography submissions for its annual publications. Monthly open mic nights are held to bring the audience community together.
The initial goal of Sagebrush Review was to provide student writers a place for publication. Over the years the goal of the journal has changed to include works of art and photography, as well as graphic art and short scripts.
The journal now also accepts submissions from students of universities other than UTSA to serve the literary and arts community at large.
Publication and SubmissionsEdit
Sagebrush Review publicated its first volume in 2005 and continues to publish a volume every year during the spring term. Call for submissions generally runs until January and the accepted submissions are published in the volume of the spring term of the next academic year.
